The extensive works on The Holly included the completion of three consulting rooms, one treatment room, male and female toilets and a reception area.
All pre-existing areas were stripped completely, followed by the formation of new partitioning walls. The upgrades continued with brand new nurse call systems put in place along with LED lighting, power, fire alarms, air conditioning and ventilation units. Davis Construction created various bespoke solutions for the hospital, including reception desks and custom IPS units.
With the work taking place in an active hospital, we used our expertise to monitor and control noise levels to prevent disturbance to patients. Some parts of the project had to be completed out of hours, as well as specially managed to avoid disruption to other areas of the hospital. Not only were the facilities upgraded within the 8-week timeframe we were given, they were finished in accordance with modern private healthcare standards, which helped to improve both patient stay and staff environments.
