Parkside Hospital contracted Davis Construction to refurbish their existing ward. Their brief included the formation of seven new en-suite bedrooms to provide comfort and convenience to patients, a reception area for staff and patients to enjoy, and a new nurse base.
The works on Parkside Hospital were carried out by Davis Construction in order to upgrade the facilities and keep them in line with modern private healthcare standards. Parkside Hospital wanted to improve patient stay and working environment for staff with the construction of new en-suite bedrooms, a nurse base and reception area.
Noise level had to be carefully controlled. This was due to the fact that the works were carried out in a live hospital and could potentially disturb patients. We therefore took every care to ensure that the initial work, including a strip out of existing areas and the formation of new partition walls, was complete with as little disruption as possible. The installation of a new nurse call system, medical gas and bespoke en-suites and bedroom furniture, as well as all power and decorative aspects of the project were finished to the highest standard. The work was completed within the tight 14-week timeframe given to us by Parkside Hospital.
