Best Growing Business Awarded to Davis Construction

The prestigious Essex Business Excellence Awards take place annually and have been running for nineteen years. They are designed to acknowledge the success of private businesses, public sector organisations and charities of all sizes from across the county. There are eight categories and the entrants in each are assessed by a different set of judges. Deliberation lasts several months and then the winners are announced at a wonderful black tie event.

One of the categories is that of ‘Best Growing Business’. It recognises companies who have worked hard to increase a certain aspect or multiple aspects of their company. Nominees may be experiencing significant growth in turnover or may have increased the range of products or services offered. Perhaps the number of employees has grown or they have entered new markets. We were honoured to be one of two medium businesses shortlisted for this award.

On Friday evening, we got suited and booted before heading over to Hylands House in Chelmsford for the award ceremony. We’re delighted to announce that we won! We had a fantastic evening with the other nominees and winners. Thanks to Brentwood Gazette and Essex Chronicle for organising such a great night.
